KOTLIN - New Language for Android

KOTLIN is the new programming language for Android app development. Since Oracle produced hurdle in unlimited free commercial usage of Java Language on other platforms, Google Inc. decided to use a new language i.e Kotlin for its application development platform and integrated its availability in latest version of its IDE i.e. Android Studio.

Kotlin is open source progamming language programmed by Jet Brians. Kotlin is becoming more and more popular gradually. It is often considered as a successor of Java language for Android. it provides a better development experience as compare to Java language, because it is efficient , concise, and expressive.

Java is a strong language. But of course , one should not waste time to make apps in Java that is going to be obsolete for Android. Oracle owns Java. Oracle has filed a legal suite against Android (Google). Oracle accused Google of "classic unfair use" in a district court Jury and claimed Google for 9 billion dollars for using Java APIs in 2014. That is why Google is shifting Android to Kotlin. Google has been working on Kotlin for 7 years already to replace Java. Now, its the time to do it. So, it is not articles. It is Google's decision. so, dont waste time on Java , if you are serious on Android. It is all mentioned in Android Official site.

FACTS:

- You can convert easily your apps from Java to Kotlin.
- Kotlin is present and future programming language of Android
- Same existing application  created on Java can have new features built on Kotlin

So, it is the golden time to learn Kotlin right now.

If you are planning to learn android development, do not waste your time learning by ignoring Kotlin. 

So, New developers and development companies should select courses of Android Application Training that focusses in Kotlin .

Plant Vs Zombies - 30 flags in MAC OS Application

Android Apps for Space and Planets - Interplanetary distribution

Purpose of this Blog: An April Fool Attempt By Google


Few minutes ago, today on "April 01" , 2016,  Google introduced  "Interplanetary" distribution for Android Apps.  Keeping an eye on date and the idea it placed seems to me 100% an attempt of "April Fool".  

What do you think developers? 

It is 3:01 PM USA Time and 12:01 AM in Pakistan.

Really, it introduced on the top of Android Developer Console , portal for Android develpers for publishing apps.  When I logged in mine, I found these words :

"Interplanetary distribution now available!"

I am sure it is an April Fool!!

Then I visited ratings of one of my app, it says in all of my apps like.

This image shows that someone Astronaut named Alex Scott  gave a review on Apr 1, 2029 at 5:15 AM . Is it an example or a real review ? 

Alex Scott says in "2029" on April 1 :

" Best app in Space! I love using 360 VR Player PRO | Videos in space, however, I wish it had better support for Space Design when in Zero-G and will definitely give 6 planets when it does! "

After this,  I noted that every single app has the same review. so, it is proved that it is an "April Fool" idea.

There are many questions that arises:

Question: Hey Google, If it is not an April fool , you are not so early to make such apps :)  i.e. at least 100 years?

Question: If they really want Billions of Android apps to be compatible with Space environment and UI for Astronauts, how many Astronauts are there in space? 10, 50 or 500 ?
Is it a good idea to convert billions of apps for 500 people in space?

Question : If Google is much confident that it is a right step, It will be a brutal waste of money, intellectual, talented resources and time resource for few people.

Question: If they think it is very useful for future of human and mankind, do apps play a big role for astronauts in their daily life?

Question : If all answers are yes, can they not even use apps exactly in the form as currently these are ? They specifically needs changing orientation etc and UI for astronauts.

It seems that I am the first person writing on it. Because few minutes ago, Google announced it.
